The three CONtraflow staffmembers that had a chance to go to Memphis had a great time at MidSouthCon. It was well-attended with a good mix of guests, a wide range of programming, a varied dealers' room, lots of really good costumes on display, a dance that was jumping and beer in the consuite.
We staffed our fan table on Saturday and Sunday and gave out blue chocolate rocket ships. There was alot of interest in the con and we sold several pre-reg memberships. The Saturday night party went well also with folks coming in to hang out and have snacks and cocktails from 9pm until 3am. Then, I went to the dance and did my best to wear myself out.
The fans in particular, but the people we met in Memphis in general, were almost every single one among the most polite and helpful people I've ever met. I am not exaggerating. It was one of the things that made it a real pleasure to spend time at this con.
