One thing people look forward to at science-fiction conventions is the chance to socialize with fellow fen in person, and what better way to do that than with a rocking block of awesome room parties?
We at CONtraflow seriously love a good room party and we invite you to BRING IT on Saturday night when our roving panel of cleverly disguised anonymous judges will eat, drink and schmooze their way from party to party until they arrive at a decision!
Please register your room party with our Hotel Liaison Department so we can place your room reservation into our party block and enter your shindig into CONtraflow's First Annual Room Party Competition.
Judging categories will include:
- Best Theme
- Best Cocktail (alcoholic beverage)
- Best Mocktail (non-alcoholic beverage)
- Best Food
- Best Use of a Rocketship (a nod to our logo)
- and a bonus Judges Choice Award.
The winning party room with the highest overall score will win our Best-In-Show prize, undeniable bragging rights and one free room night at the next CONtraflow!

How do I register my room party?

Please include the name of the person your hotel room is registered to, a contact phone number, and the name of the sponsoring group or individuals.
When you pick up your badge at the CONtraflow Registration Table (by 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 6th), we will give you your Room Party Registration Packet and finalize your paperwork.
The rest is up to you!
