MechaCon is an annual three day anime convention held during the summer at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was conceived as a revolutionary Anime convention experience, utilizing a unique three-fold approach focusing on Japanese animation, Japanese culture, and Transformers. The brainchild of two close friends, Pete Bares and Jon Russo, the convention soon became the largest, longest-running and most successful anime convention in Louisiana.

Big Easy Con is a two-day inclusive pop culture convention celebrating the one-of-a-kind culture and people that make New Orleans one of the best cities in the world.  Combining the excitement of the French Quarter with the passion and community of fandom, Big Easy Con will feature stars from television and movies, the biggest names in the comic industry, cosplay superstars, unique exhibits and vendors, and family-friendly programming. CoastCon is Mississippi's longest running and largest science fiction, fantasy and gaming convention.  It is the main sponsored event of CoastCon, Inc., a non-profit literary organization.  CoastCon, Inc. and its ten-member volunteer board develops events and gatherings to promote reading, education, fellowship, and science fiction, fantasy and gaming in all formats across the Southern United States, for over thirty-five years.

CyPhaCon is the culmination of a dream of Anime, Scf-Fi/Fantasy and Gaming fans in South West Louisiana. We have come together from different walks of life and disparate interests with one goal: A recurring and fun fan convention, by fans, for fans. When YOU enjoy yourselves, WE are at our happiest. CyPhaCon is now Southwest Louisiana's premier, family-friendly Anime, Gaming & Scifi/Fantasy convention venue. With over 1700 attendees last year, we have now expanded board and video game tourneys, anime panels, costuming & cosplay displays, musical guests, and much much more for our 2020 show.
